After a week, the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (now known also as the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex) is still on everyone's lips!
I have joined one of my best friends and blogger, Ely Reign, to comment the wedding and I am very pleased to have worked together on this post blog. Ely has recently reviewed the biography of Meghan Markle written by Andrew Morton and we could see herself in the royal wedding. If you want to read Ely's review (and practise a bit of Italian), have a look at her website here.
Below are the 5 things that we loved the most about the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
1. The Bride's Outfits
Meghan Markle was absolutely perfect in his Givenchy wedding dress. Designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller, we found it absolutely appropriate and we loved the veil, which featured distinctive flowers from each Commonwealth country. Most important, she wore a tiara!!!
But there was more... In our view, the dress she wore for the party was equally beautiful. We definitely loved her class, style and confidence.
2. Princess Charlotte's Confidence
Princess Charlotte has shown her confidence in several occasions and it's evident that she was born to be a princess. The way she looks and waves at the crowd is just adorable! BTW, as many report, Princess Charlotte also took charge of the other bridesmaids at the royal wedding.
3. The Mother of the Bride
Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, looked incredible at the royal wedding in her pistachio green outfit. We loved her being visibly touched and we could perceive her love and support for her daughter.
4. Prince Charles Walking Meghan down the Aisle
This royal wedding was full of non-traditional, yet lovely things. I have to say that I felt sorry for Meghan that her father stepped out, but we believe it was very adorable that Prince Charles walked her dauther-in-law down the aisle.
5. The Wedding Cake
Everyone who knows us knows that we have a sweet tooth, so we cannot not mention the wedding cake. Meghan and Harry chose a lemon elderflower cake made by Claire Ptak. The cake was absolutely stunning - and we're sure it was delicious too. We liked that it was different from a wedding tiered cake.
We would love to know your thoughts about the royal wedding! What did you like the most?
